Description: Three days after Osama bin Laden's death, President Obama makes a stop at a New York City fire department that lost 15 members on 9/11. The president tells the firefighters "when we say we never forget, we mean what we say." President Barack Obama on Thursday visited a fire station that lost men at Ground Zero, his first stop on a mission to bury the memory of Osama bin Laden by honoring those who died in the fiery Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center. "When we say we will never forget, we mean what we say," he said in brief comments to the firefighters and others at the station in New York's theater district. The station lost 15 men during the attacks. In his brief remarks, the president never mentioned bin Laden's name. The president was to later hold private talks with some of the family members of the nearly 3000 people killed that day.
