Description: John McCain House Party Concord, NH 12/31/07 TRANSCRIPTION QUESTIONER: Asks McCain how we can catch Bin Laden. JOHN MCCAIN: "[Osama Bin Laden] is a symbol, but not only a symbol. You may have seen, in the last week, he's gotten out two messages. Two from some remote place in Afghanistan or Pakistan. And that message has reached billions of people. It has been used to recruit, to motivate, and to instruct radical Islamic extremists. And we are not doing well on that war in cyberspace. We've got to do much better. We won the cold war not in a tank battle on the planes of Europe. We won it because we won the ideological struggle. After the Berlin Wall came down we heard from people who said, 'We listened to radio for a year. We listened to Ronald Regan. We knew that we would be free some day,' and we've got to do a lot better job in cyberspace. "I will follow Bin Laden to the gates of hell. I will catch him and I will bring him to justice. I will bring him to justice."
